A hat-trick and an assist now. A bold move by the manager. If it didn't pay off the Ronaldo fanatics would have been all over him. But it did pay off. And proves that Ronaldo holds teams back at his age.
I’m not sure this is the beginning of the end for Ronaldo or simply “The End”. A great talent, but his days are numbered if not over - I hope we don’t have to witness any more sad antics in the process!!

Arsenal are without Gabriel Jesus for at least 3 months following surgery this week.

I wonder if a shock move to the Emirates is in for Ronaldo.

One side of me would like to see him there but another tells me there must be a better option out there in the transfer market.

Just hope he doesn't. He is a yard too slow these days. Of course, he is mega-fit and still has a brilliant football brain, and will sometimes be in the right position when the ball gets to him, but too often for Man Utd he was just too slow. A brilliant player in his day, but these days living on his reputation and believes he's bigger than any team.

It must be difficult knowing that your career is almost over.
He's spent his entire life, since a young boy, training to be the best that he could be and at 37, it's nearly over.
Very few players, in any sport, make it past 40.
Sport is a cruel mistress.

Are any bars around the 88/94 area showing the game or have the fun police cracked down on late night opening in HH?

Whilst I have some sympathy for Sterling and the morons who took advantage of him being away, I hope that the FA don’t bend over backwards to help his immediate return to Qatar - his replacements have done well and his focus may not be the 100% needed!!

Regulator demands return of ฿600m for breach of “Must Carry” rule on World Cup broadcasts

I hope it happens. A crazy scenario the Gov't subsidising True for ฿600m

Even all these turkeys being from the same political party, they can't get their act together. Back handers are stronger than party loyalty. The story of Thailand and why things seldom work here.

I have one of those feeling that the Netherlands is going to advance tonight. They well could be the dark horse to take the whole thing IMO.

Sad really - was hoping for them...... :(

I for one would love to have seen them (Brazil) get there - not to be unfortunately :( Love Croatia as a place, but......
