Colder weather in Thailand is caused by global warming
Weather Department on Thursday said that the global warming is the major cause of dropping of temperature in Thailand.
Department's Deputy Director General Somchai Baimuang said that the cold weather is likely to continue until tomorrow.
Temperature on Thursday has dropped across the country, with that in Bangkok dropped to 19 Celcius and that in northern province of Loei went down to 6.12 Celcius.

The ridge of nearly intense high pressure area has extended to upper Vietnam and will to upper Thailand and the South China Sea by today evening. Summer thundershowers i.e. thunderstorm, gust and hail are likely in the areas and then cooler weather. This affect to in the eastern portion of Northeast at first and then the others. People in the areas should beware of severe weather during 22-24 March, 2011.
During 23-26 March, 2011, Increasing in rain is likely in the South. Wind waves in the Gulf with 2-3 meters. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore in the period.

The radar is off the chart at the moment with what's coming across the gulf at you in HH. It should be raining there already? We just got power back here in Rayong at 0900 after going out at 0530 during a howling wind and rain storm, strong enough to blow bicycles down the driveway, overflow my pool, and once again, uproot one of my big trees. Yes, somebody has peeded off the weather gods big time. Huge thunder storm and rain in Bangkok this morning. An intense low pressure sitting right over Bangkok at the moment, and being fed by a huge high over China.

All of the bad weather is south of Hua Hin and per the below article, heading further south. See the government weather link a few posts up which will give you accurate updates 24-7. Pete
