I had it done at a vaccination centre at the airport where I work and then did a nine hour shift and I'd forgotten about it until I took my shirt off at night and saw the small sticking plaster on my shoulder.
You got a key ring and a sticking plaster?? I shall be writing to my GP to complain...

There's a warning ,by the health ministry, that people with certain allergies should not have the vaccine and if you have one or more of those allergies, see you doctor about whether or not you should have the vaccine.
I suppose there's a list somewhere.

Got discarded, not a valid id number. Image

I wonder if naturalized citizens will have the same problem or does actual validation occur.

Oh well, maybe by Christmas. Image

From Bangkok Post:
As of now, the interface of the Line OA and the mobile app for iOS and Android is Thai-only and accepts only Thai national ID numbers to register. However, foreigners who hold a so-called pink ID card, which includes a Thai ID number, can use the platform.

I guess this is from our highly qualified 'Health Minister'.

Thanks, maybe I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe some other pink card holder can try?

My family tried with mine earlier, but it wouldn't accept.

A friend used to ask the question; "Where do you go to give up?"
If he hadn't died, I would tell him, Thailand.

As I said on the other thread (tail, dog) it might be worth trying with the actual app. Did you get your wife registered?

Also, when you say it wouldn't accept do you mean you got an error message when submitting the form, or when you tried to check by entering the id number again. The latter is what got me (see earlier in this thread), but when I downloaded and used the app I didn't need to do anything but enter my id and set up an account using my phone number (for an otp).

I asked a specialist in infectious diseases at a major public hospital in Bangkok yesterday if he knew anything about the timing and process for foreigners in Thailand to be vaccinated. He said hospitals haven’t been informed as yet

It will depend on how many vaccines are received. Nothing is certain. Either way, 'farangs' will be at the end of the queue even though the majority of us are in the 'vulnerable age group'.

My (perhaps optimistic) guess is there will be some movement once the locally mass-produced AZ supply comes on line. The doctors (if not the politicians) know that foreigners (retirees, migrant workers etc) are not just often in vulnerable groups but also often high risk of being spreaders too. In order to protect Thais, doctors know that foreigners need to be vaccinated soon too.
As I said, maybe I’m optimistic in hoping the government will realize that...

If you have a yellow tabien ban you have a Thai id number and can therefore register. As a farang you might be at the back of the queue but you may still be ahead of those who haven't registered.

So there could be a major benefit of having the Yellow Book after all?
