Yes, we had it without the wind. Short but nice.

At our house (Soi 106) it lasted for about half an hour. Absolutely torrential for the first ten minutes or so.

11.30.... Soi 94 beach end storm lasted 30 mins 5 of which was heavy rain and strong winds. Visibility was very poor

Yes indeed, 3 big downpours last night from 20.30 onwards

Woken up this morning and still pouring down

Average monthly rainfall for November is 101 mm in Hua Hin

According to ThaiMet....

We had 52.7 mm 'yesterday'(Nov 8th)

That's half the month's allocation in 1 day(payback for a dry October!)

I'm not sure how they count it or rather from when to when? One would normally assume midnight on 7th to midnight on 8th but previous figures really make me question that

Remember last Sunday morning 2am, many on here reported a heavy rain storm. Well according to Thai Met we had 0.1mm of rain that day. Impossible!

This makes me think that maybe it's 06.00 to 06.00 or something like that...

Anyone happen to know please advise(I can't see on website) thanks

OK, I'm getting payback for all the missed rainstorms. It's rained all night here and is now torrential. Hasn't stopped at all for several hours now.

I could only sit in the cafe at Khao Tao this morning. No way was I walking in that. However, it was nice to sit and watch the lake. It was like a blanket of newly laid snow. The lake looked so fresh in the torrential rain.

From 6am today until 11am we had another 20mm - so that is 2.8 inches since yesterday evening!!
