The weather today must make all you Brits homesick... :D
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

It would take more than a bit of rain for that!

My parents just arrived Sunday night, and Sister + family tomorrow, it's forecasted to start getting warmer everyday as of tomorrow, and back to 'full heat' by the 3rd April, unless I misread it!? Hope to God it get's warmer and less windier, so they can do stuff.

It's absolutely freezing out there on a motorbike with just a blouson. I blame me Mum & Dad personally, they've bought it with them. Whenever I lived with them in England it was always like this, they're climate cursed :D

↑ I hope it hurry's up. It's 19c, pissing rain and windy here in Rayong. I just washed and put away my long sleeve flannel shirt and had to get it out again. :( Pete

The mercury in many parts of the country will plunge by three to five degrees Celsius for a few days due to a low-pressure ridge, the Meteorological Department said yesterday.

Greater Bangkok could shiver in 19-degree weather while even the South might see temperatures drop as low as 22 degrees.

In the East, the minimum reading is predicted to range from 18-20 degrees.

In the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, the mercury fell to just 16.1 degrees yesterday.

Pensiri Trisat, a meteorologist in the North, said thermometers showed just 7.8 degrees on Doi Inthanon in Chiang Mai.

"The cold snap will likely continue until the end of the month," she said.

A northern weather bureau said the hot season would return early next month, at about 39-40 degrees.

"It will be scorching then just like any other summer."

April 17 is expected to be the hottest day of the year, as the sun will be directly overhead.

"But if there are clouds, it's not going to be that hot," the bureau said.

OMG! I'm going to go out and run around town in shorts and T-shirt and enjoy the cool air while it's here! :neener:

I had to go to Pattaya today and as I was approaching and starting to pick up English language radio stations there, two of them were talking about reports they received that this cool and wet weather may keep up for another month....not just to the end of this month. Pete

Weather Underground (http://www.wunderground.com/global/stat ... .html?MR=1) predicts warming starting Thursday. I hope they're right. If I liked this kind of weather I could have stayed in Seattle!

Never seen weather like this at this time of year for so long in my 10+ years here!!!

But it has given me an excuse to revive my otherwise long forgotten "Glühwein" recipe from southern Germany to provide some internal central heating.

Take an Irish Coffee type glass.
Put in a slice of lemon/lime with 3 or 4 cloves, 1/2 cinnamon stick, honey, fill with red wine leaving enough room to add a shot of Sang Som on top.
Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes.

Enjoy!!
