There seems to be a fairly unanimous shrug of the shoulders from the Emirates.
But I had no idea he was still only 23!
He might be one of those players who benefits from a move.
Yes, he's been with us since 16.
If he was half as good as he thinks he is, he'd be quite a player

He flatters to deceive, one minute looking the real deal & the next like a parks player :?
He's had a few good runs in the team but hasn't produced consistently & in his defence, he has been played out of position far to regularly :|

I suppose we'll see how he gets on with the mackems :|
Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

I think the defensively we are now better than for years, that is if Vermaelen stays out of injuries. It's very hard to replace two top guns like Cesc and Nasri but I think Wenger did the right thing by buying experience to strengthen our midfield. This will give time for Wilshere and Ramsey mature more.

Not a bad last day but it looked like 2 steps back 1 forward to me.

On paper a back 4 of Sagna, Vermaelen, Per Thingy and a strong Brazilian (must get to remember their names) looks good. A midfield choice of Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsay, Diaby, Song, Walcott, etc. and a stiker choice of Park, van Persie, and the bloke with a funny haircut looks impressive.

Well I'm certainly not a People reader, I just followed a link, two of my preferred football journalists, Tony Barrett and Tony Evans do actually write for The Times.

BTW Wilshere is out for 2-3 months.

Where`s Baa Baa when you need a balanced take on Liverpool losing to Stoke and King Kenny "allegedly" claiming Liverpool are being unfairly treated by referees?

If you would have said this last weekend you may have been entertained but seeing as you took nearly a week to think of this 'corker' the jokes on you I'm afraid.

I work with a Stoke season ticket holder and he admitted they were lucky, Liverpool had over 70% posession and dominated the game, we played well but we lost.

We have had a fair few decisions go against us, Dalglish was highlighting the fact, it doesn't do that bitter old git over the east lancs road any harm, you know, the man whos team constantly harass the ref and get all the decisions.

Only difference is that Dalglish put it more eloquently and didn't resort to swearing, ranting and raving.

Upset? :?

Just a bit weird that you asked for an evaluation of a match on thursday. And with all due respect you were trying to get a reaction from Baa Baa with the post but he didn't rise to it. :tsk:
