^ Well, have been across to see my mother this weekend and missed Thursday's game also, so a little behind the times regards to the Rugby Championship. Seems there's a few questions over the refereeing of Aus vs NZ though! I've seen the results, but look forward to seeing the hilights!

It's been rehashed several times and the ref was correct IMO.

^^I've just watched this game. As concerns the controversial decision, context is everything. Australia have clawed their way into a narrow lead, which they are defending on their own try line with a minute to go. Awarded a penalty, they are blatantly wasting time. The ref called time off and clearly told the Aussie fly half that when he called time on, the penalty must be taken immediately. It wasn't.

Som nam naar, frankly...

Cracking game though!

(Hilarious lack of objectivity from the Aussie commentators of course!)

Quins-Saracens is next on my list. Now, where's my black tie...?

Well worth watching, as usual between these two clubs. Worcester vs Exeter next, probably tomorrow.

Completely agree - Take the Pi$$, get bitten on the @rse as they say.... Well, at least down my way! Time wasting and got done - plain and simple.

This to me however, was more of a talking point and yet another disgraceful act from an out and out thug (AKA Darcy Swain) - Yellow Card for God's sake? He should have been bloody arrested IMHO. A LONG BAN must be on the cards, and we shouldn't be talking weeks or months....
.

'
If Australia want to continue their complaints over the refereeing, let's have a closer look at this! Not wanted or respected.....

Well, caught up on some rugby (Club/Region mostly), and mixed feelings.

Bath were dreadful yet again and looking towards another miserable season quite frankly. Faletau and Priestland both now at Cardiff and Bath must be regretting that fact! I've supported them (Bath) for many years (40+) and will not run away anytime soon - these are bad times though

Cardiff - looking much better than they did last season, as did the Welsh Regions (aside from the Dragons) as a whole. To rub salt into the wounds for Bath, Faletau played an absolute blinder - completely different level to any other player on the pitch. I'm hoping for better things this season for the Welsh sides in the URC - hopefully not dominated by Ireland and SA.

DOH! Sorry DM, thought you would have watched or heard the result already...

No, Bath were playing against 14 for 70 odd minutes and 13 for a further 10..... Yet they were still stuffed! :banghead: Their defence is dreadful as it has been for a damn sight longer than it should have been - too many players lost, not enough coming through and a hell of a lot to do!!

Truly worrying times for club rugby - how in the hell football clubs of the likes of Barcelona get away with owing hundreds of millions though completely escapes me....

Another sad note is the pathetic 6 week ban handed out to Darcey Swain when he should have been given 10 times that IMHO!! :banghead: :cuss:

Anywho - looking forward to some good rugby in the next few days and hopefully some good news regarding Wasps and Worcester.

Bath (and this the first half): -

Absolute embarrassment. As has been for several years, dire in defence more recently clueless in attack. Beaten in the front 5 continually, cr@p in the lineout...... Lose top players as quite frankly they don't want to play for Bath any longer.

WHEN can we rid ourselves of the idiots running or managing this famous club??!!

And a favorite ref of mine just to piss off things more......

FFS  :cuss: :banghead:

The match coming up shortly between RSA/ARG will decide our pool between Jimmy Greaves, Pharvey and Big Boy.

Pick well gentlemen. (As I think he said in the Raiders of the Lost Ark.)
