Re: Premier League 2015-2016
Big weekend coming up, top four playing one another. No predictions from me, just hopes! TV sorted, Arsenal v Leicester closely followed by Italy v England.
Re: Premier League 2015-2016
Everyone is saying "draw" for both big matches. I don't think so. My feeling is Leicester and the Spurs will walk away winners.

It's two home wins for me, which will leave the race wide open.
Personally I think it would be great for the PL if Leicester do go on to win it, and a draw or win at our place will certainly put them in a prime position.
We shall see.

I guess that most footie fans are waiting for today's two big games, but surely Chelsea's 5-1 drubbing over Newcastle and LVG's "one more nail in the coffin" deserves some mention?
I'm hoping that Leicester get at least a point against the Gunners, but a repeat of last weeks score would be even better.

Could be one more nail in Steve Mclarens coffin also.

So true, having just tried to spend his way out of relegation, if they do go down NUFC will be looking for yet another new manager next season.Pagey wrote:Could be one more nail in Steve Mclarens coffin also.
Re: Premier League 2015-2016
I've watched Newcastle a couple of times this season and they didnt look too bad a side, but they have had some shocking results !
With Aston Villa likely to pick up 3 easy points today
it looks as if you can perm any three of Villa,Newcastle,Sunderland,Norwich and Bournemouth for the drop.
United,absolutely diabolical in the second half.....no fight,no passion,no cohesion....in fact,nothing.
No chance of the Champions League now.No way they will win the Europa League.Moyes was sacked in a similar position to this and he wasnt allowed 250 million GBP to spend.
Really looking forward to tonights matches....as I appear to have got most of the results wrong on IKTS this weekend, including Everton as my Banker
......these were/are my predictions....
Arsenal 1 Leicester 1
Manchester City 2 Spurs 3
So looks as though Spurs could be in for a bit of a drubbing, then !

Liked what insaw at the Emirates today.
Last minute goal to close the gap on the leaders aside, I thought we were pretty good if not wasteful at the same time.
Kick on from this performance and we may just make a strong shout for that title we've waited so long for.

Good weekend, Arsenal win, England win. So God must be an Englishman and JC is an Arsenal supporter. Just need a draw with Man C and the Spuds.

OK - dodgey penalty decision agreed, but Spurs were way better than City today

Shame really that in both games the focus will be on some poor refereeing decisions.Terry wrote:OK - dodgey penalty decision agreed, but Spurs were way better than City today![]()

Yep, good to see Welbeck back and with Wilshere and Cazorla back in training it could be a major boost for the run in.Henry 14th wrote:

Sadly I think Danny Welbecks winner in the 5th minute of injury time could be the beginning of the end for Leicesters title dream but we shall see.
I reckon its between the Spuds and Arsenal now......nothing between them.....a fight to the finish.

Don't rule Leicester out yet, I've just looked at their upcoming fixtures.Zidane wrote:Sadly I think Danny Welbecks winner in the 5th minute of injury time could be the beginning of the end for Leicesters title dream but we shall see.

Norwich, West Brom, Watford, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Sunderland, West Ham, Swansea.
On current form only Southampton & West Ham may prove tricky before Leicesters last games which are difficult but the next few weeks see Arse away to Man U after a CL game against Barca and Spurs v Arse so the ball is still in Leicesters court, the title is theirs to lose.
