It could be some weird virus as well so she should do a scan. Pete
Thanks Pete. I'll check in here again tomorrow for any other ideas? I doubt she has a lot thats legit on the thing, certainly windows isn't!

No other views on this? I know its not a hi-tec issue and as the steppyson is now computer savvy, would the spilt drink scenario be about right and if so can it be fixed?

Caller, is it possible that the keyboard setting has been inadvertently changed? There are a huge number of different keyboard layouts and if you set one different to what you have all sorts of strange things start happening.

Steve, its difficult for me as the folks are in LOS right now, but the little one is really clued up on how to search you tube and the like for his favourites - he did it all the time, but he wasn't always so careful! :?

If you've checked the language settings and it hasn't been changed to Farsi or something then you probably need a new keyboard, often the ribbon cable connecting it to the mainboard gets damaged which produces some strange results when typing! Laptop keyboards cost in the region of about 2,500 baht.

Never heard of it, if you have a new laptop you should have enough memory in there anyway so you shouldn't be worrying about optimisers.

Getting rid of it should be easy: control panel > add remove programs > uninstall.

Downloading movies

Post by richard »

Know it has been mentioned before but cant find the thread

I am sick of Vuse hogging my machine and slowing everything down when downloading movies

Tried other download sights but they all point me to Vuse

Any suggestions?

Covered a million times in this section, use bit-torrent and mininova.org or thepiratebay.org to find your movies. Guides on using torrents are in this section.

Whatever you use will slow your connection though as it will be using most of your bandwidth which is why it is a good idea to leave downloads running over night.

I do not get a straightforward answer by googling this. Therefore: I have rundll32.exe running twice on my computer.
Can and should I stop the blanc one (the one with path nor description)?
AVG (Paid version), Malwarebytes and Advanced System Care do not let any alarms go off though.
Anyone any ideas?

The second one is for Nvidia graphics drivers, perfectly safe.

I thought that one would be safe, but what about the other, the first one. Is that the "standard" one and the second is an extra for NVIDIA drivers or can it be something potentially bad in disguise?
