Do you know if there is any waiting time between Covid & Flu jabs. I know when I had my first Covid jab (seems a million years ago now) one of the stipulations back then was that you mustn't have had your Flu jab within so many (I think it was 8) weeks. I actually missed my Flu jab last year, having decided Covid was more important.
In Thailand it is 1 month. Other countries can do them both together.

^^^ As of this morning they have about 200 doses available. 350 baht per dose. You should phone to check times as it seems to vary according to day. Times were posted on FB 2 weeks ago and may have changed (ie Mon - Wed 8am - 3pm, Thur, Fri 8am - 10.30am).

This shot is for 4 strains of flu.

They also have free shots against 3 strains which are free for elderly and at-risk Thais, though these are currently out of stock.

I got my second booster on Friday. First two jabs were AZ, both boosters were Moderna. And, once again, I had miserable side effects; same as with the first three:

Headache, body ache, fever, brain fog, extreme fatigue and sleepiness as well as extreme hunger. It started just at bed time Friday with mild discomfort. I woke up at 2:00 AM with all of the above. I spent most of yesterday lying down dosing myself with Ibuprofen.

Much better today but still tired and listless. Fever and headache are gone. I did manage to get out and work in the garden this morning.

My wife also had her second booster at the same time. For the first time she had mild side effects: light fever and slight body ache.

Can't wait for the next booster.

Correction to my post above.

The Red Cross will be doing COVID vaccinations Monday - Thursday this week. Not Friday.

I know Flu is off topic, but as it was raised here, I'll offer up my experience today.

As my routine check-up appointment was today, I didn't ask Red Cross but asked at HHH. The doc said my Covid jab was only 4 weeks ago, and I should ask again at my August appointment. It was too soon after my Covid jab to have the Flu jab.

My granddaughter who has only recently started at Salesian has informed us that she needs to get a covid shot. Absolutely agree. However, the school will make the appointment, we will need to take her there and the school requires 500 baht up front.
I'm assuming the shots are free. Is this another money grab by Salesian. It wouldn't be the first time.

This is what schools in Thailand do, ours were charged a higher rate for the tests than we can buy them locally. The school is a business - profit comes first.
