Don't mind the heat but the humidity is a killer

I agree Richard.
Only 32 C degrees but the extreme humidity makes it feel like closer to 38 or 40 degrees.
A very hot day indeed.

I wouldn't know, I can't read my thermometer due to my eyes burning with perspiration running in them.

I sincerely think humans were not intended to live in this climate... it's much better suited to reptiles and insects. :|
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Official forecast (from inside my ice chamber...)

Daytime: sunny and hot. Nighttime: dark and hot. :|

BTW: Where's the afternoon rains we usually get this time of year. I think Hua Hin is entering a serious drought condition as the water company is turning off the tap during certain hours each day... not a problem for me with two 4000 liter storage tanks, but I'm seeing a lot of water truck activity up and down my road lately so I think some folks are running out.

Oops! I just looked out the window and there are some big black ominous clouds headed this way from the other side of the mountains to the west.

It is indeed a bit dark at the moment.
I have the lights on in the house already.
Quick brought the laundry inside.

It was a thunderstorm but it turned north before it reached my area and the skies are sunny again. Hopefully, you who live in the north of town got some cooling showers.

Warning

"Heavy Rain and Strong Wind-Wave"
No. 3 Time Issued : May 08, 2011

The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain occurs over the western part of the country and the East. People in the disaster areas of Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun provinces should beware of flash flood during 8-11 May 2011.

The strong wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand is likely. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 8-12 May 2011.

The advisory is in effect for Thailand from 8 May 2011

Issued at 5.00 a.m.

EDIT: I guess we can use today as the start of the 2011-12 monsoon season. A bit early.

Don't worry about it. If you're staying in Hua Hin you may experience some short, delightful showers, and then full sun again. The chance of rain in Hua Hin has now fizzled to 20% for the next 7 days. Pete
