A ludicrous ruling/law - WHAT THE FECK IS HOME ADVANTAGE??!! Wales have without doubt one of the best stadiums in World Rugby!! The atmosphere is incredible, yet we are told when to keep the roof open or closed by a visiting team - you must be having a fecking laugh!! :cuss: :banghead: If Lah De Dah Twickers Rugby HQ had a roof, the rules would be changed without doubt... Hell's teeth, should we be so inclined, it would be racist or Woke or.... Whatever the terminology is these days.

FFS, are teams that scared to play us in our own stadium under a closed roof? Grow a pair Scotland!! :tsk:

Scotland Force Wales to Keep Roof Open as Disappointed Gatland Says 'It Should be Our Choice'

"The Principality Stadium roof will be open for Wales' Six Nations clash with Scotland this weekend.

Six Nations regulations say both sides have to agree for the roof to be closed, with Warren Gatland revealing Scotland have insisted on it being kept open on Saturday.

There is a chance of some drizzle on Saturday evening, but Gatland said that the call by Scotland - who haven't won in Cardiff since 2002 - stems from dampening the Principality Stadium's atmosphere, rather than its pitch."

I'm campaigning for the Six Nations to be held in India (I'd go for Saudi but too hot).

France vs Ireland.... NOT the result I was expecting that's for sure! A record away win against France for Ireland with the added Try Bonus - who's going to stop them defending their title and Grand Slam?

Certainly can't take anything away from a very good Ireland performance, but France were poor. Shaun Edwards must be seething with their defense - especially the first two tries. Of course the Red Card (2 x Yellows) hurt them, but there were other factors - they simply didn't click and I firmly believe Dupont's decision to miss this year's 6 Nations played a big part. Away to Scotland next up for them - hopefully playing a Scottish team also looking for their first win of the tournament!!

Next up today: -

Italy vs England. "Should" be a fairly comfortable win for England, but who knows with Italy playing at home with some of their recent displays? They have been hit with a fairly major blow with the loss of Ange Capuozzo on the wing - hell of an exciting player.
The Lillywhites will look to control things up front though methinks.

Wales vs Scotland. Well, at least the roof is closed eh DM? :neener: :butt: It's a young and inexperienced side for Wales, clearly building for the future and they face a tough outing against the Scots who haven't won in Cardiff for 22 years! That said, the "Sweaties" wont be giving that a second thought.
Of course heart over head rules I must go for a Welsh win - we'll see a little later!!

I caught a quick comment after the match by who I assume was the French coach; "Of course with 14 men the other team should win..." Nose in the air and pompous.

Expect no less - at least in public!

The Red Card was simply stupidity from (South African) Willems - I've seen Red Cards given for his first Yellow Card offense, but to get another Yellow shortly after coming back on the pitch for a near identical head high tackle..... There'll no doubt be some interesting conversations with him behind closed doors and I suspect a ban that will effectively end his 6 Nations.

Well, perhaps a smidgeon of pain as well...

And the merest hint of embarrasment for a no. 8 with the worst moustache in Europe.
