Left out several suggestions. How about 'we did, are bored, maybe we shouldn't have!' and ' One of us more content than the other!'
It's hard for farang wives and Thai wives who have been abroad for many years.

wife and i were living in orlando florida when i retired. the childern were living in hua hin with uncle. we went back to be with childern and to enjoy a life of leisure. after 2.5 years we packed up and moved back. reasons 1 us bucks were going down the tubes -2 wife wanted to work for aunt again in her resturant[she clears 2,500 a month and try as she did nothing could match that in hua hin]- 3 education. schools are for shit in thailand and we now have them in A plus schools where if they do well college florida will pay tution -4 i was bored. i miss some things drinking with friends, fine looking women and a rare short time. oh and thai food. i think if the money was right we would spend summers there and then back to usa. alas maybe in my next life.
