Pete,
I thought I was being scientific about things as I found a web site that gave a run down on all the teams - I hadn't got a clue about some of them.
I was wrong and my predictions demonstrate that.
Hopefully, the next round might be easier as there's some historical data to base my picks on. However, I'll be around last place by then so the exercise will be futile

See what can happen with a game or two Lomu.

Its been almost 50% draws so far so I'm sticking with that strategy.

But you did not stick to it consistently.
There were 6 draws in the first 13 matches. As a draw is at least 1.5 points (because the goal difference is right) you would have at least 9 points plus up to 6 margin points (for the exactly right results) plus bonus points. So you would be near the top of the list.
But it is more fun to predict a result you believe in and follow the match and swear at New Zealand if they shoot a goal in the last minute.

Here's a little distraction from all those wrong predictions ...

After the victory over Spain I had to change my avatar.
Had I only had the courage to predict the result, this would have given me 3 points.

I'm outside enjoying the evening and just heard a huge cheer go up from a house way down the street. I can only assume that Germany has taken the lead?
..or not

What the hell is going on with this World Cup?
Serbia 1 Germany 0. All of us remain in the standings as we did last night. Only .77% picked Serbia. My final standings prediction is now Switzerland, Mexico and the USA.
