You don't need shinpads or your full kit to lift a trophy "Big JT Captain, Leader, Legend"
Embarrassing.
so if Gerrard did that through injury that would be embarassing?

I'd be embarrassed if Gerrard watched a full match in his Club suit and ran off to put his Kit and shinpads on, Yes.
Hazard was happy enough to celebrate with the lads in his suit, England's brave John Terry went and changed into his gear for the second time for one reason only, his ego.

There's no other possible explanation than that he wants to be in the photos as though he's played.
Roy Keane didn't even take Champions League medal.

Actually, Terry, once again, wasn't the only Chelsea player to do that - remember Ivanovic, suspended for the European cup final, cavorting on the crossbar after the game in full kit, or Meireles, or Ramires? But carry on.
Why does it bother you?
Talk is cheap

Vain!

UEFA regulations insist that any player who wishes to lift the trophy must be wearing kit.

Considering that brave JT is getting the piss taken out of him up and down the land, it's kind of been covered.

As I said, it's bollocks. The Daily Mail are arguably the worst Newspaper in England and Twitter is one of their "sources"
In their own article they even mention Keane and Scholes and show a photo, in suits, Hazard had a suit on to.
