Wow, a footballing master class led by Captain Harry. 5 - 0 at half-time against the mighty Albania.

Well that was weird. 5-0 up at half time then everyone went to sleep. It was like a Sunday game after a hard Saturday night out - hangovers all round. Foden was pretty ordinary and none of the subs did themselves any favours at all. Still, England managed to hang on to their lead...

Yes, they really took their foot off the gas.

With just one game to go against another great footballing world power, San Marino, qualification should be assured.

Something I thought would not happen, we beat Bosnia-Herz away 1-3 while playing with 10 players for 50+ minutes. There's still a ray of hope that we could get the seconds spot in the group. Last match on Tuesday vs France, don't think we'll get anything from that but maybe Bosnia will help us with a result vs Ukraine.

Another thumping by Captain Harry's men as they beat the great San Marino. They had to take Capt. Harry off to spare the host's blushes, and keep the score down to just 10 - 0.

Qatar, we're coming, and surely it must be coming home at last.

Sorry BG, but I'm sure you're going to hear this a few more times yet

It's ok as I have heard it for years and IMHO it's turning into an embarrassment for those who keep repeating it.

Yet, I might even support the team now that there are three Gunners in the team, all doing fine last night. If only the fans from Pommieland would learn to behave themselves. :D

Was there trouble? It wouldn't surprise me - it was the reason I stopped supporting them overseas.

Embarrassing? It is belief. Next, you'll be telling me that Father Christmas isn't real.

Maybe not this time, just thinking about last summer and the 2018 World Cup.
Next, you'll be telling me that Father Christmas isn't real
Don't worry, he's real, he lives in northern Finland. :D

The devotion is admirable (though misguided  ) BB - what was that in the lyrics "30 years of hurt..."? Christ, goes to show how old that song is!! :D :neener:

At least being a Welsh supporter, I don't have high expectations for the World Cup - that said, of course we'll stuff Belgium and will qualify..... :D

An oldie, but goldie. People don't tire of singing Happy Birthday, and neither do we tire of singing It's Coming Home.

The writer of such an irritating song has to be genius.

Sorry Mr Harvey if you beat Belgium you wil not qualify. :( However you are in the play offs in March so they could still qualify. I hope they do. :D

Oh lindos, I fully understand we will not qualify by just beating Belgium - I'm saying we'll do both!! :neener:

Whilst the Lillywhites just have to play the minnows to qualify, we need to play and beat the world's best.... Some "ringfencing" there methinks
