Another good night last night. I think everybody enjoyed it. The service was great - just had to look thirsty, and they were there with more liquid refreshment. Although I can't eat it, the food at half time smelt extremely palletable, and everybody seemed pleased with with their feast. Well done Johnny's 56 team.
For me, the only downside was the quiz - sorry, it was hard. The only thing that kept us as a close last place was a 'Ships of the Royal Navy' round. I would actually consider myself a Royal Navy annorack, although the rest of my team weren't convinced, so we didn't play our Joker - even then there were some very obscure questions relating to a painting of ship in 18XX and a radio soap from the 60s.
Our team isn't very bright (we'd consider ourselves average) at the best of times, and we actually had 2 members who couldn't answer a single question all night. OK some of the other teams are brilliant, in fact last night's winning team only had 3 members (

outstanding performance guys). We personally have more fun with the mix of easy, medium and hard questions - at least it makes everybody feel involved - the clever guys will always come through in the end anyway. That aside, I'm not trying to detract from the obvious hard work Barry put into the quiz - thank you.
