I went to see the new Bond last night. (good but sometimes difficult to understand) I was amused that in the lobby there are posters for coming attractions, one was for the new movie about the Suffragette movement in the UK, a hundred years ago--You know damn well that this movie will not come to HH, but I guess head office determines which posters are shown.

I hope you're right - that would waste a precious original soundtrack slot. When we saw the trailer, both my son and I agreed we definitely wouldn't go.

I have timed the start of movies at MV and compared them with announced times--it is usually 25 min of ads and trailers first. Entering 20 min after announced time will ensure that you not miss opening but do not have to sit through trailers.
Alao A/C is not as fierce as it used to be, I still wear a long sleeve shirt and long pants to be comfortable.

I was there last night, and the A/C was non-existent. That combined with a disappointingly slow movie, and having to wear 3D glasses made it very hard to concentrate on the movie.

whats the price to get into the cinema

its dirt cheap, I think about 150b. Note that the ads and trailers for coming movies (some which never come) last about 25-30 mins. One clue when they play the National anthem the film will start in about 5 min. I try to get seated about 20min after announced time.

[Big Boy]

The price varies from day to day, plus there are premiums for 3D plus you have to provide your own 3D glasses. They are available to be purchased. The cheapest day is Wednesday, when you basically get in for half price. Friday and Saturday tend to be the dearest days.

Also there are 4 levels of pricing within each auditorium.

Oakdale's 150 Baht is a good guide/average.
