Yep, I think there is a thread on here somewhere about backwards Thai IT. 30 days only booking is fine in the low season but will be problematic if you have to use it during the peak period ... though it doesn't appear that the bus company is too bothered.

I've just tried again and the RRCTICKET.COM site is now working for up to 30 days ahead.
It might just be my phone browser but that site doesn't allow me to select a date but if you manually enter it, in the form of 01/09/2023, it works after that.

Rode the airport bus yesterday late afternoon, the journey took 3 hours 20 minutes with no traffic. Bus was full so you definitely need to book if you want a specific time.

To update this, the Bell Travel website still doesn't work, but tickets can be booked using the rrticket link above.

Rode this bus today from HH to Swampy - it wasn't new or electric. It also took more than four hours - the longest I ever recall doing it in - so be aware and allow plenty of time if connecting with a flight.

^It was the end of a holiday weekend and I noticed that there was very heavy traffic heading towards Bangkok in Hua Hin this afternoon.

Rode the bus back from the airport yesterday afternoon and it still took more than 3.5 hours. Was also full up so you need to book in advance.

Beware that the airport bus is very busy at the moment, better book your seat in advance.
My neighbour arrived yesterday morning at about 6.30am and couldn't get a single seat before 4pm as all the buses were full. At the end he took a taxi.

Yes, we had a friend with the exact same experience a couple of weeks ago. He scrapped Hua Hin and went to Koh Phangan instead.
