That Arse have to give a guard of honour to pool tomorrow, then watch Spurs, United and Chelsea play in European finals (spurs will probably lose, it's in our blood but meh) and City bag another fa cup...

makes me very sad.

Now you know why a beer is so expensive at Tottenham - someone has to pay for the technology!!

Saw someone refer to the Spurs Vs United final as 'El Crapico'. Couldn't help but laugh, we're both shit.

Indeed! :D

Thinking about going to the stadium to watch on the big screen with fans. Didn't for the 'pool Champions League final, cried in the pub next door.

Incidentally there's still tickets available online for the game in Bilbao which surprises me. Only £700ish... :banghead:

Re, Pool final no way that was handball (Sissoko)

It actually struck him below the armpit

I think they did him because his arm was in an unnatural position... but it didn't hit his arm!!!

Absolutely gutting that one! He was stupid for raising his arm (directing a player where to go) while in the box. Mane definitely went for his outstretched arm but ..

Armpit! :cuss:

Wouldn't be given today. We were shit on the day anyway, half-fit Kane shouldn't have started. Ho hum.

Sunderland Vs Coventry Championship play-off goes into extra time! The playoff final is one of, if not the, most lucrative tie in football for the winning club. BBC sport says it's worth £220 million for the winner this year!

Link here if anyone's interested in watching extra time. Pop ups are a pain on this site.

Tough on Coventry! Sunderland go through with the last kick (head) of the game in the 122nd minute! Far more entertaining than watching Bristol get battered by Sheffield United...no idea how Bristol found themselves in the mix.

Fair to say the Sunderland commentary enjoyed that one! 🤣

Barcelona clinch the treble yesterday with another outrageous goal from Lamine Yamal. Had Barcelona won the Champion's League too, Yamal would have surely been a shoo-in for the Ballon d'Or at 17 years old (previous youngest is the 'original' Ronaldo at 21 back in 1997). As it stands, should Ousmane Dembele lead PSG to a Champions League title, he'll, (unfairly in my opinion) pip Yamal to it.

What a player that young lad is though! Once in a generation player.

I've just been reading about the Portsmouth > Bilbao ferry that many have used for the match Wednesday as there are not near enough hotel rooms in Bilbao to accommodate everyone.

What a hoot those trips must be for the younger fans, followed by a monumental hangover! :thumb:
