I've also broke a titleist iron steel regular shaft when i was 15, in the backswing before hit the ball or the ground, i believe it was a problem in the shaft because even Tiger Woods can't break it like that.

For the graphite ones, it was decatlhon brand, the cheapest in France, after the first set was totally broken they gave me another one for free, a week later i asked them to refund my money as it was the same story again. Then i bought Titleist steel shafts and i've broke one too... Now i have Mizuno MP 67 with N.S Pro 850 GH Stiff steel shafts and it's like playing graphite.

I'm not an angry golfer or what, but i need to play with steel super light stiff shaft, as i'm a tiny guy i should play with graphite but i'm too worry to break them again, it's hunting me and i can't even swing with a graphite club without the fear of break it.

My handicap is the same as when i was 15, (17 or 18) as i never played any competion since that time, 9 years ago. Now i can play the par IF i don't miss my putts, as i have more than 40 per round while pro have 30 per round, i've played 9 holes under the par but it was a very good day i believe then i fucked up the last 9.

This is me 1 and half year ago :

My swing need some improvements, i'm looking for a pro who play on the pro tour to help me. I'm modifying my whole swing and i can't do it alone.

They asked me if i was hitting hard, so i posted a video better than explain how i swing the club and what speed.

Sorry if you don't like it, i believe you can ignore me, this is a vBulletin forum and you have a lot of options to do so

When you hit the ball then the ground with a cheap graphite shaft you will break it with enough power.

Must be some terribly cheap shafts - where did they break?

At the join with the head of the club, never ever buy cheap golf clubs as you will need to buy new ones very soon. I have learned my lesson and now i only buy high end brand names, second hands to save money but still high quality products.

With respect JOHAN you are telling us all what I believe we already know and is basic common sense - I appreciate you are a top notch golfer with an 18 handicap but perhaps you should do even more to improve your own golf before passing on recommendations.

With respect, my handicap it's the same as when i started golf... and i will have the same handicap in 20 yrs. Handicap is nothing, you can have 0 handicap or lower by playing hundreds of competitions. How you can know anything about "my golf" ? Anyone who is playing golf is always giving "recommendations", even if they play very bad. This is golf, if you don't like it, don't play it.

I played with a thai "pro", he was playing very bad with a very bad swing, he had his pro card from the thai PGA, you can believe me, you are better to listen my advices than his. That's why i'm looking for a pro who play on the tour, they can't be bad players, the level is very high on the tour. To obtain the pro card from the thai PGA it's very easy...

Mate

The chances of a Touring Pro wanting to give lessons is zero. These guys don't have time (or the patience) to teach handicapped players. They are too focused on thier own games.

Try out a couple of the local teaching (ful time) Pro's & you are sure to find one that suits your needs.
