Personally I (if I have aircon) use it for 10 minutes to cool the room down and then revert to a fan under the netting

I must admit, I'm jealous of you non-air types, but I'm like HHF, can't handle the heat, can't get to sleep without air...no sleep makes shunpike a nasty fellow.
