Any chance of a torrent? The one I've found keeps giving me tracker problems and I can't use Youtube on this bagoshite connection.

I watched the first episode, because I was curious, and it left a seriously bad taste in my mouth. It's showing a side of Thailand that I know exists, but I would never want to experience.

It's typical of the genre of TV at the moment. Shock, horror and disgust. I'll just carry on watching my downloaded episodes of the Likely Lads.

I used this torrent:

and managed it in about 18 hours with my slow ipstar connection.

If I include the URL-tags the post is delivered as empty???

Watched it on You Tube (Thanks BaaBaa  )

Second episode, I thought didn't show Thailand in a bad light, it showed the tourists there as, how do you say on your side of the pond? Wankers.

The marijuana girl got off easy.

The jerk that peed on a taxi got away with a small payment, would have been charged with public drunk here in the states and jailed AND fined.

The kid in the prison protested his innocence, and that is expected. Not sure if he was scammed, but even by some of the stories we hear, that sounds funny. He didn't mention about being asked for money, so where is the gain for the scammers? Plus, maybe it was me, but I wanted to smack that smirk off his face.

The kid that got mugged and whose friend went to the station was treated correct, I thought. Despite language differences they still brought in a suspect.

The 2 "mercenaries" were treated fairly, and the cop volunteer called it right.

I'm with you VS, I watched bits of the first one out of curiosty, but I weary of watching idiots abroad - such programmes of Brits on their hols from such places as San Antonio in Ibiza and Kavos in Corfu have been done to death on UKTV. And, ahem, I've been to both places. Can't recall much of San Antonio though!

what a wanker!
should have let the thais dish out a bit of their own justice before they nicked him!
the blubbering when he was caught was embarrassing & deserved punishment in itself!!

seemed to think it was all a big adventure, unbelievable!!

agree but what about the guy in the green shirt
with the cctv images he would be facing gbh charges for his cowardly attack from behind, no matter what the circumstances !!
he better hope the mercenaries don't watch the documentary   :D

all in all a reasonable attempt to show the darker side of tourism in thailand.
several things to remember, these incidents are highlighted & magnified for maximum effect.
yes they occur, but are not that widespread & easily avoidable.
compared to holiday resorts in other parts of the world (especially europe), they are fairly tame. :|

Change the words 'Spain' and 'Greece' to 'Phuket' and 'Pattaya' and that is exactly what they are saying in Spain and Greece!

Bloody hell!

She had a little bit of weed and you think she should do 9 months in a Thai prison.

She got what she deserved, a bit of a scare.

At least he'd tried to learn the language, did you not hear him saying "Kop Kop, Kop Kop" whilst grovelling on his knees.
