As I thought - a farce. OK, he's making a lot of cash out of it, but Iron Mike was just too old to put in a good performance. Quite pathetic.

Yes, he ran out of steam very quickly. I guess most 58 year olds would.

I thought Tyson did well.... For the first 30 seconds. It was of course the money grabbing farce that it was always going to be - reportedly worth £30 million to Paul and £15 million to Tyson. The Netflix coverage was chaotic at least in the majority of areas, but I'm pleased I saw the 2 "Undercard fights" - proper kick-ass stuff, though I'm in two minds when it comes to women knocking the crap out of each other.

Well, he threw a few more than that, but not many.

I don't like the idea of the spoilt You Tube child Paul having anything to do with this sport or taking money from it... However, I'd just love to see the damage the likes of Usyk, Dubois, Fury/Joshua (now finished really) would do him....

The Netflix stats showed 18 punches that landed in 8 rounds.

Well, Netflix were shite as were the commentating team! :D  In all seriousness, "Landed" rather than "Thrown" is a tad different - you did infer he only threw 18 punches.... :duck:

Regardless, it was crap and as per previous posts a money grabbing farce which I hope at least gets Tyson out of the ring for good and if necessary (to get rid of Paul) a date for the You Tuber with someone who will truly teach him the lessons of a boxing life...

Anywho - now onto the RUGBY!!

Tyson, nothing to add, he should never have been called to fight by Paul. It's so sad for this to be remembered as his last fight but it really should be.
Taylor, fight like a caravan site woman, grinding her head into every opponent. No advert for women's boxing, unlike our Nicola Adams who was a supreme fighter.
Barrios v. Ramos, the fight of the night, brutal and a draw was in truth a fair result for what they both put into this match.

PS - Netflix should never be allowed another PPV event.

Natasha Jonas and Lauren Price both won in Liverpool last night, I haven't seen the fights yet, 4.00 am Thai time wasn't attractive!

So early next year will be the welterweight unification fight between them. I'll be rooting for the little firecracker Jonas, but I know it will be a good fight.

Well, the big fight this weekend is obviously Usyk vs Fury II.

I am no fan of the Gypsy King ( :tosser: ) Lard Arse, but I think this one could very well be close. Fury will no doubt take matters a damned sight more seriously this time around and if having a smidgen of a brain, use his height and reach advantage to good effect. Usyk is far the better "Boxer" IMHO but loses out massively on size - he is a true Cruiserweight after all, much like Holyfield was in his day.... Both great champions!

Decent times for us in the UK for once, but not so much for those in HH/Thailand - the Undercards starting around 4pm and the Main Event at around 10 to 10:30pm. I'm looking forward to this one and honestly hope it's the last time I'll see Fury getting a (MASSIVE) payday out of the sport.... Please Oleksandr, do the sport a favour and drop him on his ample arse! :thumb:

Are you going to make it CJ - I guess a 04:30/05:30am start for you?

I'd love to watch the undercard but I think that's a forlorn hope, have to catch it later. I'll go to sleep at usual time 10.30 or 11.00 and set an alarm for the ringwalk, no problem. :thumb:

I'm afraid I love a maverick boxer, even a gobby trailer park man, Usyk winning would be a win for boxing though, and my cloudy crystal ball gives it to him anyway.

Very disappointing to see an empty stadium for the first few fights. 'Tis what happens when sporting events are held by non-sporting nations. Only want the glory fight, none of the 'little stuff'. The same with their football, they'll turn up to watch Ronaldo or another big name. The football itself is an afterthought. The Saudi World Cup is going to be painfully devoid of soul.

That said, the main event will be full. Looking forward to it. Usyk to win by KO in the 5th or 6th. The big man doesn't have it in him anymore.

Link for anyone without a link. :D

You'll see a diferent Fury from the 1st fight and he'll also be without his arshole of a father in his corner, which can only be a benefit. As much as I despise the "Gypsy King Muppet" and his antics/attitude, I can't see Usyk putting him down (and out) by the 5th or 6th - quite possibly around 8 or 9, but I can see this going the distance. Usyk has the benefit of being World Champion in his favour if it comes to the Judges and we all know they do not like to give points easily against a Champion - how on earth it was even a Split Decision in the first bout is beyond me.

If it goes the distance, then Usyk by Unanimous Decision, BUT I'm going to go for a stoppage in the 10th - Usyk to win..... But hell, I'm so wrong about so many things these days!! :D

Thanks for the link, but the Sports system I've got at the moment hasn't let me down yet!! :thumb:

ENJOY!!

Quick first round knockout there. The main event up soon. :D

In other news, I don't think the chap who won the free Mercedes in the audience will fit inside it.
