Had we been playing anyone decent, we would have been stuffed again.
Yes, it would be awful if Arsenal caught the Spurs late-season-collapse syndrome and were overtaken by Spurs, Everton and Man U (in that order)...

That's true and i haven't forgot that, that's a lot of quality missing there.
The guy your referring to is Kallestrom, he came on against Swansea, looked quite good from the short time he was on.

The squad has been a few players short from the beginning though & i was surprised we were in the mix as long as we were.

Going into January knowing Walcott was out for the season & Ramsay for a long spell, you would have thought an intelligent manager would have strengthened the squad, we have £140 million in the bank ffs

Not Wenger though, he does it his own stubborn way & for the umpteenth season on the trot, he's got it wrong.
The unrest amongst supporters is really growing rapidly.

A few months back i said something very similar to what you're hoping for, and i was serious.

I said a couple of key player injuries & a loss of form, fatigue from overplaying players because of the lack of depth, tough games coming up against the top sides . . . . we could end up 5th or 6th.
I was laughed out of the pub :P after a heated debate I must add.

I hope I was wrong but i still can't see us turning the tide in the short term.
Man C at home then Everton away, we could be 5th in a fortnight

Throw in a semi final defeat to Wigan . . . .

I can't bear to think about it, . . . . i'm off to bed :D

How would you cope if you were a Manchester United fan ? Every week brings more heartache. :(
Lucky I live in a bungalow and not a high rise condo or I would have ended it all by now. :blues:

Yesterday's results have certainly made the title chase more interesting and with Liverpool playing both City and Chelsea up at Anfield, it could still be a Merseyside title............providing of course they can overcome the spuds today?

Likewise if both City and Chelsea draw at Anfield it brings Arsenal back into the mix.

I know anything is possible, but i think a little wishful thinking there Henry :D
You would have to say Everton are in it to then because if they beat us & win their game in hand, they go above us  :(

According to Mouro, Chelsk are now out of the race , losing to Palace yesterday was certainly not on the menu.

I still think there will be plenty of twists & turns until the end.
Man C are favourites but only just in front of Chelsk & Liverpool.

The head to heads will be decisive but not definitive, there are no easy games at this time of the season, as Chelsk found out yesterday (& Man C  ).

No idea, but he'd have just enjoyed Liverpool's walk over of Spurs.

Is Adebayer injured?

Where do Spurs start for next season? No effective attack, no defensive minded midfielders and no defence! A lot of work is needed to make the jump to the next level.

Ade Injured.

Yes we've had no attack for a quite a few seasons now, Sandro is our defensive midfielder who for some reason is not getting play time. Defence as you say is non existant. Roll on getting rid of plenty of players and a new manager. We're absolutely shite.
