Not sure about the night market but Cicada remains closed. My daughter is in the stage show there so she gets the latest.

Just checked with my daughter. She says 100% that Cicada remains closed. They are considering opening next month.

Went by taxi to Bangkok this Monday morning and came back Tuesday afternoon and there was no problem, no check up, nothing, smooth ride except just before Bangkok where they have roadworks and traffic builds up, but other than that everything was fine going and coming back

Anyone else noticed that some Thais are letting their masks slip - literally. Been in a couple of businesses now where masks weren't being worn and also around the area I live, less Thais seem to be wearing them. They have them, but just not covering what they should be.

Oh yes, the worst for me was a bread shop in Market Village. One girl preparing, and one girl laying bread out. Both girls had their masks under their chin, and breathing all over the product.
I regularly go to Khao Tao. These days my wife and I are often the only one wearing our masks properly.

More than 30 years here now and it's typical Thai mentality.
Work's just the same: When the going gets tough, the tough get going and things turn out far better than expected. When it's quiet, might as well not ask anyone to do anything, especially think ahead.
Caller, Big Boy, touch of 'job's done' mentality creeping in with regards to Covid-19 for sure

Irony: Before Covid-19 you weren't allowed to wear a face covering when entering a bank. During Covid-19 lock down you must wear a face covering when entering a bank.
It begs the question:
How many bank robberies have taken place during the Covid-19 lock down?

To be fair, IF the figures are anywhere near reality, then you have more chance of winning the lottery than catching Covid 19.
Considering we haven't had a case within 100kms for a month, they should start a competition 'Hunt the Virus'. The winner gets all treatment paid for!

The movie made about all this should be interesting. It will no longer be categorized as 'Science Fiction."
A Huxley/Orwellian film.

If you can breath with a mask as well as without you are not a normal person.
