Only stand alone I'm afraid, mine is same as link but is a 1613 which came boxed with one of the small stations indoor outdor thermometer which my wife has set to degrees F.
Its only a bit of fun but fairly accurate

Not sure which weather app you're using, but Weather Underground (http://www.wunderground.com) says it's currently 29C with a high of 33C forecast, scattered clouds and a 20% chance of precipitation today and pretty much the same tomorrow; rising to a 70% chance of precipitation on Friday & Saturday. It would be interesting to hear from someone on the ground in HH as to what the weather is actually doing right now, when I checked the security cameras on my villa earlier this morning it looked pretty nice, but can't access them right now.

It's pleasantly warm, but overcast. Not much wind.

It rains almost every day for anything from a few minutes to a couple of hours. Occasionally we have an afternoon where it rains for several hours but that is the exception rather than the rule.

In August you're likely to see much the same.

It would appear that the rain can be extremely localised at times. I am having a house built about 7kms from Cha Am travelling towards HH. Yesterday late afternoon as is our norm, we left our rented house in the centre of Cha Am where it was raining quite lightly and turned onto the Phetchkasm road heading towards HH and in that 7km stretch, we witnessed several areas where the rain was harder, two areas where the road was completely dry and other areas about the same as it was in Cha Am. I assume that within the HH area, there would be people saying there was no rain and yet others who report downpours. As for today, it has been overcast all morning (whereas normally there have been prolonged sunny spells) but with just a few light drizzles and nothing more.

Huhu,

thanks for all the information.

So my app isn't that bad at all. (I'm using AccuWeather http://www.accuweather.com/)

Doesn't make me that happy now... so no hanging around in the pool this time? :?

Yes, we've noticed that before. One of us is living inside his own micro-climate - just not quite sure who.

I know that Richard (and most Brits) will be familiar with the saying " Nowt as queer as folk", well seems like the same could be said of the weather here?
