Chris (Guess) hospitalised
I spoke to Chris yesterday and yes, he's not always lucid. I couldn't get the names of the drugs he's taking so am not sure about any interactions but there are some herbal remedies a Thai 'friend' makes, which would absolutely cut his bills.
If his brain was starved of oxygen, which seems to be the case, then it's important to get circulation and oxygen back up there to aid recovery.
The 'Thai Herbal' suggests using Gotu kola ('Bua Bok'), Cayenne, and Gingko Biloba (can take as a tea). These have been used to treat conditions such as Alzheimers. Neem ('Sadao') is an excellent all rounder and one of the best herbs in the herbal kingdom. Add 'Ja Lewk Tai Bai' to protect and support the liver.
Since 80% of the immune system is in the colon, a colon cleanse might also be helpful. I've seen many people come out of depression just by cleansing. A quickie cleanse can be done cheaply at San Paulo.
If anyone is visiting/seeing him regularly, they can collect the tincture, which I will get from my Thai 'friend' or they might wish to find their own herbalist. Only concern is if he is taking blood thinners. He would need to introduce the herbal tincture gradually as he tapers off the drugs. See the post in the health section.
Not sure if this will improve him but it shouldn't do any harm to try. These herbs are eaten almost daily by Thais.
There are other simple strategies which might help him. For instance, raising the end of the bed so the heart is slightly above the head will encourage blood flow to the brain.
Hot and cold showers (if he can tolerate them) will improve circulation considerably and help get the herbs to the head. Stand under the shower and do the following...
...15 seconds hot water, followed by 15 seconds cold. Repeat this 7 times. Once per day. Twice is better.
Head massages are good too. With Cayenne Oil or cold-pressed Coconut, massaged into the scalp. Relaxation is always beneficial. Keep the Cayenne out of the eyes!
These are just ideas. Please pm me if anyone wishes to follow up.

Please stop with this hearsay policy and get on with the real facts.
Chris came out of the Bang Saphan hospital two days ago, by the help his loving wife and a wheelchair.
He can't walk nor get around without a helping hand to push him.
If you want to cheer him up or in any other way are willing to help him, please pm me and I'll give you his telephone number.

Chris has not been riding a motorbike for a very long time, he is currently wheelchair bound following an operation on his leg which followed a major operation on a stomach ulcer.
Anyone with genuine concern wanting more information or his contact details is welcome to PM myself or Norseman.

Chris (Guess) hospitalised
To be fair I think that Richard has signed off due to his impending trip back to the UK.
It's good to hear that Chris is out of hospital again and I hope his progress continues. He sure as hell won't be riding a motorbike in the foreseeable future - if at all - but I do hope that he will seek treatment at another hospital if it is ever needed again. Or failing that seriously think about going home for specialist help. Not a happy prospect I know, but sometimes it's the only way.

A sprout is for life - not just for Christmas.
There have been some scandalous postings on other forums relating to this situation. Someone with a personal vendetta has been spreading lies and bullshit via email under the guise of a Bangsaphan expat called 'Peter'.
It is all complete crap and not to be believed, anyone that knows Chris and the situation will know who this vindictive, childish person is. You don't have to be a virgin to work it out, it won't drive you potty.

I've read the controversial stuff and am intrigued about the so called Peter who is spreading these rumours
Many of my colleagues have mentioned this topic and expressed their views
I only knew 'guess' for a short spell so cannot comment. Nevertheless I'm intrigued as I'm sure many are

We are the Ex Pats from Bangsaphan Guest House and have copied the above from another forum, posted by "Peter". We are not happy that we have been dragged into this "defamation of character".The Facts
They have an income of 35,000 baht/month plus a pension, hardly destitute. (Income from the bar in Hua Hin) I have checked this by asking at the Sugarcane Bar in Hua Hin, easily checked.
Last time hospitalised was due to a motorbike accident, not a relapse or illness, ask any Ex Pat in Saphan.
Chris is well and is seen often on his motorbike around Saphan from April onwards.
New Bar in Saphan leased with rent paid in advance, 1 year, lease taken out in February, refurbished and running beginning of March.
Any further info please PM me or we can meet, often at the Bang Saphan Guest House which is run by an Ex Pat and who will I am sure verify any of the above as will the majority of Ex Pats here.
Enjoyed my stay here in Hua hin and Cha Am, going back to Saphan now, will be home approx 1900 hrs ready for the Football
Ok! firstly, We cannot verify that Chris has a current income or pension.
Secondly, Chris had a fall, causing a massive blood clot on his leg, which hospitalised him the second time.
Thirdly, Chirs is now riding an old motorbike, does anyone expect him to walk?
Fourthly, Chris had no option but to rent a house, (as he lost his own house) that has an old run down (with no equipment pizza parlour) attached to it. Chris moved in a week ago! It has not been refurbished!
Our final comment, "Peter", well, we have two Peter's in Bangsaphan and both were in BS when this post was submitted, inactual fact one was in hospital.
