Spotted bird repellent spikes at HomePro last week; two sizes, one for pigeons and larger birds, another for the smaller species. Somewhere around 350 baht for 5 meters of the pigeon repellent variety. Under serious consideration at the moment.

What about sparrows? I now park in a carport that has open steel beams above the car... to small for larger birds but sparrows sit and nest up there and my car is always covered in bird shit. Would a fake owl deter them?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Thanks for that V (I don't want to call you VD :| ). We've got a million - OK I slightly exaggerate, probably 50 - pigeons roosting on the nice little ledges above our bedroom windows. They poo all over the roof, nick the dog food, and coo in the early hours. Our security guard (aka Dog II) has managed to kill a few, but I think he's bored with that particular game. Question is: Do I send Mr.VS up on the second floor to fit the spikes, or do I risk life and limb doing it myself?
