The downward spiral starts for England this weekend........ 3 losses on the trot.Randy Cornhole wrote:No not really. Generally the decider is left until the last game. This has always been the case.
England or France will win the 6 nations. Thats a fact...

Bit of a risk with Phillips I think - would be great to see him back, but perhaps a bit early and maybe Peel would have been the right choice this weekend. Phillips' physicality would be ideal against this French side, but it could also be a disaster in bringing the guy back to early - Gethin Jenkins was in my book and he lasted under 15 minutes.mars wrote:Bradley Davies & Deiniol Jones are the 2nd rows
Richie Rees starts at 9 and Mike Phillips made the bench after one half for the Ospreys on Sunday
It's certainly going to be a high scoring game - I just hope the points are "equally shared" in Wales' favour!!

Just hours to go........ unfortunately a 4am kick-off for me which I'm highly unlikely to make considering the weekend is going to start at 6pm
Shall therefore avoid the score and attempt to watch on iplayer with thick head and blurred vision tomorrow......... at least that way I can fast forward to the final whistle if Wales are getting mullered!!
Good luck all...... well, at least those betting on Wales

Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
I'll be watching tonights game at home, despite being offered a freebie ticket and then straight to bed without a drink. I won't be watching any of tomorrow's games either.
Why, you may ask, is this rugby nut acting as though rugby does not matter anymore?
Well, tomorrow I have to get up at 5am to drive to Chesterfield and watch one of our boys competing for Wales in the other Grand Slam competition taking place this weekend - the Shotokan Karate Grand Slam between England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales! He is in the under 16's category and I think he is probably the first Thai to represent Wales in this sport.
C'mon Wales!!!!

You've got priorities spelled the right way Jaime.
Best of luck to him. Tell him his Thai based farang uncles are behind him 100%. Pete

Interesting Jaime. Does he attend the Hutton Moor events in WSM (always a great Welsh turnout) or any of the Bristol/Gloucestershire events? If so, we've probably been at the same events.
There's an open event in Gloucestershire on 11 April and Hutton Moor on 2 May - let us know if you'll be there.
Anyway,

Another great come back but too little too late. Too many mistakes at crucial moments. Second game we've lost this tournament by gifting interception tries to a side who never actually created anything to threaten our line.
Great display by Bradley Davies and, as usual, Martyn Williams is doing it all by himself in the back row but the rest of our pack took 40 minutes to wake up.
Never mind - off to the other 'Grand Slam' tomorrow and will be filled with pride whatever happens!
