Beautiful! Thanks very much for that. Was just reading a little about YTS (below) and thought it was gone for good.hhinner wrote:yify now yts.ag
YTS REACHES MPAA DEAL BUT DOTCOM FACES DECADES IN JAIL?
How does YTS, one of the most organized and notorious public torrent sites, strike a deal with Hollywood despite being listed as a notorious market by the U.S. government? We're all curious to know more, but spare a thought for Kim Dotcom. He's in the same country as the YTS operator but faces decades behind bars.
After reporting on thousands of file-sharing related stories around the globe for almost ten years, the folks here at TF have a ‘feel’ for how certain scenarios play out. With that in mind, something doesn’t feel right with the ongoing drama involving YTS / YIFY.

Re: Torrents
On the YIFY site each film pic has either 720p or 1080p - what does this mean?

Re: Torrents
Quality of picture - 1080 is HD basically. If you are going to view on your computer, download 720 - if you are going to view on your TV, download 1080.PET wrote:On the YIFY site each film pic has either 720p or 1080p - what does this mean?

Thanks DM - did know of this site, but Yify is the one I'm really after. They have gone off-line in the past, but have returned weeks later.dtaai-maai wrote:Try torrentz.eu - gives you several options.
Very sad news if no access at all - was certainly one of (if not the) top sites IMHO.Homer wrote:The Yify group quit. Someone else is using their name.
Still accessing through www.yify.ag hhinner?hhinner wrote:Working OK for me right now.
Possibly just blocked through UK/US - I'll have to try another VPN.
Cheers guys..

Working for me here in Hua Hin..........no vpn required
Re: Torrents
Just so we're clear hear. There are yify sites and yify torrents on torrent sites. Yify was popular because the care they took in encoding made the best tradeoff between file size and image quality. Who(m) ever is now posting as yify doesn't have that same magic touch.pharvey wrote:Very sad news if no access at all - was certainly one of (if not the) top sites IMHO.Homer wrote:The Yify group quit. yts.ag may not be yify. But so what? Original yify was no more official or legal, and the downloads seem just as usable. Anyway, here is a concise explanation of what happened: link to heavy.com.
