I was thinking the same for your lot

All the names mentioned are worthy candidates.
For me George Best was the best i've ever seen, absolute genius.

He did the biz on pitches that were like ploughed fields, when the ball was sometimes a dead weight & as DM pointed out, when the skill was half about staying alive

Messi is a modern day version, not only for his skills, but his get up & get on with it attitude.
You very rarely see him rolling around on the floor, or injured for that matter.

My old man always reckons Duncan Edwards would have been one of the greats had he not died in the Munich air crash.
Never saw him play myself, but he's usually a good judge of footballing matters.

I watched a documentary about Van Basten on the plane once, he was a bit special too.

Also forgot our current Manager, he could play a bit.

Hats off to you Chelsea... What an incredible performance!

Played most the game with 10 men and were 2-0 down.... Unbelievable really.

I don't understand why Barca were so reluctant to have a go from outside the box in the second half. The one time they did they hit the post. Instead they kept passing from one side to the other eventually getting nowhere through the rock solid defending.

Caller... How many players are out for the final? Is it just Terry and Meireles (sp?)?

Chuffed, dead chuffed.

Shame for JT who really did not deserve a streight red, not sure how we will do in the final with 4 first picks down.

You're entitled to be chuffed, it must have been another miracle!!

I didn't see the game, but I've just seen the Terry knee in the back on YouTube. Not sure how the ref could have done anything else. It was the easiest red card I've seen in a long time, and unquestionably the stupidest foul - WTF was Terry thinking?
This is the way

'If Chelsea win the Champions League and finish outside the Premier League's top four, they will still qualify for next season's competition at the expense of the team that does finish fourth'

That could be a pi55er............. :guns:

BTW - congrats and well done.

Glad to see my namesake up to his usual tricks - red card well deserved

Well let's hope Chelsea don't win it as it will break Newcastle's heart!

Congrats to Chelsea!

I'm probably going to have to support a team managed by shitcoat for the 1st time ever.

Terry deserved red, he's just so used to leniency/bias in England.

Also Geoff Shreeves is a snidey, sneering Bellend.

Worse (or better ) than that, I'm pretty sure Ramires and Ivanovic are banned too and those two have been Chelseas best performers when I've seen them.
