Hua Hin City 2018
Re: Hua Hin City 2018
This is very true. Just saying, Songkran is 5 times the player, and would probably sign for a fifth of the salary. Hua Hin City are imploding- a great opportunity to grab a bargain.

Prachuap, not surprisingly, won 3 - 0. Ironically, Prachuap only played their Thai players.

It appears that 2 of the missing players have turned up like a bad penny. Numbers 8 and 10 have been spotted.

Hua Hin City 3 - 2 Chainat Hornbill B
There will be very few actual reports now. I have finally thrown in the towel - I am officially a Ratchaburi Mitr Phol supporter, and if matches clash, Ratchaburi will get my patronage. The antics of the Hua Hin City mismanagement have driven me away. Of course, having been an avid Hua Hin City supporter home and away for 6 years, it will be difficult not to follow their results.
From what I've been told, despite winning yesterday, and Arnon had his best game of the season, it was still a sham i.e.:
Next home game that I'll probably go to is next Sunday.

From what I've been told, despite winning yesterday, and Arnon had his best game of the season, it was still a sham i.e.:
- The management still refuse to play the best defender in the league.
- Despite playing their goalscorer (top scorer for Mongolian champions who are competing in this season's Champions League alongside the likes of Buriram), he was given absolutely no service because his skin is the wrong colour.
Next home game that I'll probably go to is next Sunday.

Re: Hua Hin City 2018
I was a little premature when I announced:
8. Haritsadee Paitoon (Zola) - rumoured to have signed for Look E-San, so unlikely to start against Look E-San Sunday.
10. David Megitt - rumoured to have left football, whilst seeking another club.
11. Panudech Suebpeng - rumoured to have signed for Customs Utd.
12. Sheriff Feliboulee - contract ended.
15. Samuel Ngouafck - contract ended
18. Nicolas Paul Vandelli - contract ended
27. Tossapon Hokma - signed for MuangKan
50. Fabricio Peris Carneiro - contract ended
Also, potential imminent departures include:
5. Dennis Heinke
39. Pratchaya Homchey
This is so sad. They are all first stream players, and the majority will end in higher divisions. I can't say where they are moving yet, but I have seen a few offers, and most are bettering their status.salaries. I saw a friendly match 2 weeks ago featuring trialists - the future does not look good. A very talented squad, decimated.

Re: Hua Hin City 2018
This will be my last report for sometime - I just don't enjoy the football any longer. I will continue to bring fixtures and results.
Hua Hin City 0 – 1 Look E-San
5 Hua Hin City players have left the team in recent weeks; at least 3 of yesterday’s squad are due to leave during the mid-season break. More are still contemplating their future with the club. The team will have to move forward with what is left plus a few newbies. Today’s team was a sort of halfway house. Looking at the squad available, the biggest shock was Songkran would be starting on the bench.
The playing surface has looked much better. In places it looked more like Hua Hin Beach than a football stadium.
From the outset, it was clear it was going to be a scrappy match. Play was end to end, and the difference was going to be a couple of very skilful foreign players spearheading the Look E-San offensive. They were giving Hua Hin problem after problem throughout the match. In the first half, Look E-San had many scoring opportunities, as opposed to just one opportunity for Hua Hin. Hua Hin went in 1 goal down (a strike from a free kick on the edge of the penalty area) at the break, and on the back foot.
As seems to be the problem many times this season, better players don’t seem to appear on the field until partway through the match. In this case, Hua Hin had probably one of the league's best defenders sat on the bench, while the on field players were struggling against a very capable Look E-San attack. At half time, Hua Hin introduced Songkran to stem the threat of an embarrassing large home defeat against one the league’s lessor teams. A team who have been leaking goals this season like a sieve.
The second half was much better for Hua Hin, who created chance after chance, but alas, had nobody capable of converting a goal. In one very strange incident, from where I was sat, it looked as though Arnon made a very athletic goal line clearance to prevent a Hua Hin equaliser. I’m looking forward to the highlights to see what really happened.
Overall, it was a very scrappy performance, but based on the 2nd half, a performance in which Hua Hin deserved at least a share of the points. It has to be worrying that at least 3 of the players on display will also be leaving the club during the mid-season break.
I think the team needs to be looking over their shoulders. Only 9 points from relegation with 12 matches still to play. I fear survival will be a battle. How can a new management take on a team of promotion certainties at the beginning of a season and have it in such disarray 10 games later? Hua Hin are currently 5th in the league:
Next match is 10th June 2018, an away local derby to IPE Samut Sakhon. Kick off 18:00.
