Well, bugger me sideways if we didn't hang on and beat the bastards.

I'm knackered, pissed as a fart and in the doghouse (dropped my glass of sang som when we scored no. 3 and woke up Mrs D-M, who spent the next 15 minutes trying to find all the bits of glass...), all of which must explain why there's a tear in my eye.

I thought Man U played extremely well in the 2nd half and were very unlucky to lose, but I'm sure Sir Alex will take it on the chin like the gentleman he is.

For a change, I have to admit that I'm happy that the spuds got a great result. Now then, who can beat Chelskea, we should have at least drawn them but our leaky defence came back to haunt us again.

Looking forward to Wilshere to return to the line-up. Hopefully, he'll be strong after the long injury, Ramsey is having an awful season at the moment.

Thought there may have been a few spurs comments on here tonight, got the rub of tbe green second half as united pounded but a win every 20 odd years has to be celebrated.

Everton started slowly then starting hitting the target way too often, could have been 7.1 at half time. Second half just pushed it around which was disapointing. Onwards and upwards to Wigan next week.

Be careful, Mr Blue - as an Everton man, you get a lot of 'underdog' leeway, but that is in serious danger of disappearing...

We look like we are clicking a bit and nice result for you.

It was a very good game and you're right. But the turning point may have been Diabys injury? It's hard to understand Wengers selections in defence today? Or was it Bould? It might help Arsenals cause if they had one. For how many years has this been said?

Spuds did well but for United read Arsenal and it showed. Two managers who got it wrong?

Jury's still out on Liverpool simply beacuse Norwich gave the 1st 3 goals away but still scored two. For Liverpool, read Arsenal and United.

For IKTS, I'm fed up with last minute goals. Anyone noticed as MOTD pointed out that Kompany is curently awful in defence?

Strange old start to the season.

Chuffed with Chelsea. :D

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said the four minutes of injury time added to his team's defeat by Tottenham was an "insult".

I suppose the excuses are inevitable...
They gave us four minutes [injury time], that's an insult to the game. It denies you a proper chance to win a football match."
97 minutes is obviously not enough. Well, not when you're a goal down!
... if we had held the scoreline at 2-1 for a few minutes I think we would have won the match
"If Spurs hadn't scored 3 goals, I think we'd have won the match."

I would love to see Sir Alex go out on a low...

Same, he's achieved alot but he's an absolute arsehole.

I think the league will be better without his influence.

I know that you think that all life outside of LFC is amoebic, BUT I was talking of diving in general
Wasn't having a dig at you at all mate, just giving my opinion.

I just find smashing somebody in the back of the head then calling them a diver a bit worse than being theatrical.

Is the worm turning?

Ferguson presses eject on another reporter

Once again, the bee in Sir Alex Ferguson's bonnet is threatening to buzz out of control. The Manchester United manager has already banned two football writers over reporting, accurately, that Rio Ferdinand would miss the first game of the season at Everton, and another has now been added to the list for noting that Antonio Valencia was on crutches after the game at Liverpool last Saturday.

Ferguson, indeed, is so enraged about this spurt of truthful stories, he blew his top at a Football Foundation event in front of an audience including the Premier League chief executive, Richard Scudamore. A strange phenomenon, punishing reporters for their accuracy – especially when Ferguson's own updates are infamously scattered with inaccuracies and red herrings

Happy bunny tonight - Whinger all out of shape at the Emirates and a great away win for us at Trafford

Why not just be happy that Spurs managed to break their 23 year duck at Old Trafford, why mention Wenger? Inferiority complex I suppose.
