Political un-rest and rally
Re: Political un-rest and rally
Why do they bother with charges against idiots like this:
Perth 'red shirt' walks free:

A Perth man who pleaded guilty on Friday to breaching Thailand's emergency decree during this year's anti-government protests has been freed by a Thai court.
Conor David Purcell, from Western Australia, smiled broadly after the verdict was delivered by judge Somchart Lertlikhitworakul.
Purcell was given a three-month sentence, reduced to 45 days in view of his plea, but he has spent more than that time in custody.
"It feels wonderful now that it's over," he said.
Purcell was arrested during anti-government protests in Bangkok after he took to a stage to address thousands of so-called "Red Shirt" supporters of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Purcell, 30, had initially pleaded not guilty to breaching state of emergency laws imposed on April 7 after anti-government protesters invaded the national parliament.
The laws forbade gatherings of more than five people.
During the hearing, Judge Somchart encouraged Mr Purcell to accept the charges, pointing to recent verdicts for protesters who had received reduced sentences after pleading guilty.
"I accept the charges," Mr Purcell said. He said his decision was not made under duress.
"This is a good result for everyone who is concerned with him," Siriporn Muangsrinun, Purcell's lawyer, said.
Purcell now faces deportation and will be held at the Immigration Detention Centre while preparations are made for a flight back to Australia.
Officials said it was unclear when Purcell would leave Thailand.

The police seemed pretty sharp with this one. ID from a closed circuit camera, found out who he was, where he was out of the county, and waited for him to return. Pete

A British man and his Thai wife, both members of the United Front for Democracy's Chiang Mai branch, were arrested on Wednesday night at Suvarnabhumi airport on charges including attempted arson, Immigration Police Division 2 commander Pol Maj-Gen Visanu Prasartthong-osoth said at a press conference on Thursday.
Pol Maj-Gen Visanu said Keith Wayne Bush, 49, and Alisa Bush, 33, are wanted under arrest warrants issued by the Chiang Mai Court for attempted arson, illegal assembly and inciting unrest.
The footage of a closed-circuit camera showed the two trying to set fire to public property in Chiang Mai on May 19 after the UDD ended its rally at the Ratchaprasong intersection in Bangkok.
Mr Bush was arrested on his arrival from the United Arab Emirates on Flight EY 408 late on Wednesday night. His wife, who went to the airport to meet him, was also arrested.
The two denied the charges.
They would be handed over to Phuphing Ratchaniwes police in Chiang Mai for legal proceedings, Pol Maj-Gen Visanu said.
