The Wierdest Water Park in the World ?

Post by Super Joe »

It's in Tokyo.

Admission rules say: As a general rule, people affiliated with mobsters or criminal organizations are not allowed to enter the premises. The same applies to people wearing tattoos. This rule will become effective on 1 July 2008 and applies to the entire premises of Tokyo Summerland.

This Tokyo theme park is looking for someone to give them a price to paint their steelwork, anyone ? Oh, you got to sand down the old paint, then give it 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of paint.

The bit about tattoos is understandable in Japan mate.

Tattoos, despite being a historical part of Japanese culture, are also strongly associated with Yakuza or "social misfits" (ie someone who doesn't toe the Japanese societal line).

That photo does remind me of 70s Benidorm tho
