Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

"The Meteorological Department warns on Friday 55 provinces as well as Bangkok will face heavy rain covering 60-80 percent of its areas today. This is due to a combination of a low pressure front in North Vietnam and Laos and a growing force of Southwestern Monsoon in the Andaman sea. Those in the rural areas in the rural areas should be mindful of possible flash floods."

Despite all those pics above Hin Lek Fai had 6mm!!!

Hua Hin got only 27mm of rain in June versus a June monthly average of 79mm

We are still well down on the year to date..... 40% below average

July should bring 102mm on average

My weather guage in Hin Lek Fai 2klms from Black Mountain totalled 52mm with rain on 7 days ?

My weather guage in Hin Lek Fai 2klms from Black Mountain totalled 52mm with rain on 7 days ?

That's simply the difference between Hin Lek Fai and Soi 51 whether station

HLF gets double up there what they get down near the beach, just north of the Hilton

Thaimet stats always feel low compared to what most of us actually get

Sorry for dumb question but when does the day start for rainfall stats

Does some poor sod have to empty to rainfall measuring equipment at midnight or is it from say 6am onwards
