4 inch is one hell of a pump! What are you going to do with it, and what are you going to drive it with??????

Maybe you are asking about a submersable well or bore pump? The outside diameter has not got a lot to do with the "size" of any pump.

These people will probably know if you call them:

'S. ANAN Deep Well Company', 02-3163155, no English

or you could ask K. Sang, local and really good guy, but limited English.

I got a new 3 inch petrol Honda pump yesterday from Honda in Tha-yang
bht 8300 work great and i can move it around my 3 bore holes at will to water the banana. By the way i looked at the price in other shops and found this one a bht 100 cheeper so there is not much diference where ever you shop here.

Something to look out for is many of them give 12 month guarantees on the submersible well/bore pumps in their Thai blurb.
When it comes to it, the words say that everything is guaranteed EXCEPT the motor, which is what usually goes.
Caaaaaaaaants.

hi guys again on a learning curve here about well pumps

the american one has its starter in a box which we mounted in the well as its a big concrete yoke
the old one had its starter on hte bottom of the motor which ment if ther was a fault starting you had to pull the whole dam thing out to check the starter or capisitor

bit like a choke on a flourcent light so im told well its in a few days working graet

How many Litres per hour do you need to pump?.
60Ft or approx 23 metres "Head" is not too bad. Depending on volume per minute you may get away with pencil/staged type pump. 3 inch should do it.
Make sure pump is always under water down hole as the water passing into and around pump is used to cool motor.
"Grundfoss" is the best make in Uk, expect you could get one or similar in
Thailand.
