Hello Lorraine here. I would like to say thank you for those who attended last night's quiz at the Buffalo Tavern. Everyone had a great time and asked when the next would be, which is Friday 9th January. I daresay Bill will keep you posted along the way.
Just one little moan though. Out of the 45 people who did come, only 15 actually confirmed. I understand that people don't like to commit, but had we been given more idea as to the final number, it would have made things better in as much as providing a bigger buffet. Nobody went hungry, but I would have been happier satisfying those with a bigger appetite!
If you haven't yet made it to one of our quizzes, please make a big effort to come, bring the wife (we also include many questions with regard to Thailand) and support the rest of the community doing their bit in aid of a very good local cause - who knows, you may even enjoy yourself!
P.S. Two more dates for your diary – 25th December Christmas Extravaganza – 3 course dinner with wine, plus excellent entertainment in the form of Elvis Presley & Tom Jones, a great evening promised – don’t forget your dancing shoes! 1500 Baht
