Help! - Salt Water Pool Valves

I am about to start renting a new property with a salt water pool, shortly and need someone to give me an idea of what all the valves in the pump house do, since I am going to maintain the pool myself. I could figure it out I'm sure but it would take me longer than someone who's already familiar with these systems.

If you have an hour to spare and can help out, I can supply the beer, coffee or a free lunch!

I'm also thinking of using Hydrogen Peroxide rather than chlorine and need to ensure that anything rubber is the synthetic variety. I doubt if anyone knows about this but you never know.
