All you fans of the Jazz Train run by Mr Ray of Ray's Place have got a new variation on a theme to participate in - the Jazz Boat is taking its first voyage next Thursday 12th February!
It will be a day trip commencing with an 8am minibus pick up at Ray's Place, and will incorporate free food, soft drinks, snorkelling,fishing and of course music (alcohol will have to be bought), returning in the evening to Ray's Place for the usual Thursday night jazz there. Musicians and their instruments are encouraged to come along and join in the entertainment.
Price is 2,900 baht, and hopefully this will be the first of many, as either a temporary or possibly permanent replacement for the Jazz Train, which cannot run at present due to special trains being run from Bangkok.

Stg£60-00 per person seems a little expensive, but Ok for 2 week tourists I suppose.

We asked Mr Ray but he didn't have the information then - I'd suggest you contact him either at his place or by phone - he also has email but this account has not made enough posts yet to put it here - sorry! PM me if you want it, and I will post it on here as soon as I am able.
