anything happening at the Hilton

Post by Arcadian »

We have been trying to book a room at the Hilton from April2 for 6 days but they are full. Does anyone know what is going on there? Any information would be appreciated.

I don't know about the night of the 2nd or the 7th, but the 4th through the 6th is a three day Thai holiday weekend and typically Hua Hin fills up with people from Bangkok on those weekends. They would drive down on the 3rd after work and may not go back until early morning of the 7th so that would cover 4 nights of your intended 6 night stay....

Often the case at Hilton at short notice. Often have that problem when I come to Hua Hin.

But I normally stay in the Marriott now. It's not town centre, but only a 3 minute tuk tuk to the action. Much quieter hotel and in my opinion friendlier staff, more laid back and more relaxing. It's on the beach, same as Hilton.

It's also less expensive than the Hilton.
