3.The troube with the maples(and they quite believe they're right)
4.L.A.T.E.R. that week
5.We can go dancing we can go walking. As long as we're together
6.Do i attract you do i repulse you with my queezy smile
7.Good evening,i'm from Essex in case you couldn't tell
8.I can keep rythmn with no metronome,no metronome,no metronome
9I'm the left eye, your the right
10.Alone on an aeroplane. Falling asleep against the window pane.My blood will thicken
11.Oh yeah, its just because i'm crazy in love, crazy in love
12.I can't do everything,but i'll do anything for you
13Upstairs in bed with my ex boy. He's in the place but i can't get joy
14Kung fu!Well that was one of my good ones
15And in the naked light i saw 10,000 people mabye more

Some are easy, but i think there's a couple of real toughies in there too
Hope you enjoy

Give me a CD and a guitar and I can usually work out a song in 10 minuets including the solo, but lyrics are always a mystery to me. The old brain just can't compute them... :|

Number 7 is billarickey Dickie by Ian Dury.

Number 15 rings a bloody big bell but thats it for me... :?

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Well done Pete on 15, that's been bugging me all night!

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence.

I think this is one of Mr. Simon's greatest.

excuse me for correcting you bubbly but it's one of my all time faves :thumb:

should read;

'the trouble with the maples (& they're quite convinced they're right)'

'the trees' by rush

You could well be right red,and if i had a deck i'd route out the record and double check. I must come clean,i got handed a sheet of 100 song lyrics(for 1 pound in aid of comic relief) and i copied it off that. Trees is one of my fave rush songs too(if i'm in hippie retro mode).
I chose most of the ones i knew but there were some really obscure lyrics on this sheet.

P.s. thats if it's rush. Trees

I saw Rush live once in the early 90's at wembly. I must admit it was a good night. I still like the old fave though - Spirit of the radio... :D
