Calculate your virtual age and life expectancy...

Post by hhfarang »

This is an interesting web test that (supposedly) reveals your virtual age and personal life expectancy vs your biological age the average life expectancy for someone like you. The questions and how the answers effect the outcome seems to prove out a lot of MrPlum's theories on health due to lifestyle, diet, medications, stress, meditation, etc. It's very interesting in that it uses a sliding scale that you can move up or down to see just how much a certain behavior affects your life expectancy.

With a biological age of 59, and with honest answers I got a virtual age of 66.1 and whereas the average life expectancy of someone with my sex, race, and family history would be 78, mine, due to my lifestyle is 70.9.

MrPlum, I expect you will score a life expectancy somewhere in the 90's unless you have a poor family history. :thumb:

If anyone wants to give it a try... here's the link. Answer honestly and good luck!

Bio age is 57
Virtual age is 53.5

Average life expectancy 78
My life expectancy 81.5

Surprising with all my problems but dad has passed 100 so I suppose that makes a difference.

I answered all answers truthfully as well. :?

This is interesting as I smoke 2 packs a day, don't regularly get check up's, and exercise lightly. I guess all the other positives weighed heavily

Bio: 59
Virtual: 49
Avg life: 78
Me: 88

That was also my Mom's age when she passed. Did the test twice and the same +- a small bit. Pete

My Mom's still alive at 93, but she's a very clean living soul.

My motto was always live hard, die young, and leave a good looking corpse. Still living hard, but couldn't achieve the other two! :D

Bio age: 48 :(
Virtual: 37.3 :D
Average Life Exp: 76
My life exp: 86.7 :|

Considering I drink and smoke, I think it's being a bit generous. Quite frankly, I don't want to live too long. If I get to the stage when I can't feed myself or walk to the loo, then I'd rather be dead.

I got a life expectancy of 90 but I’ll now have to do the test again as that has given me raised anxiety levels due to the fact that my plummeting pension fund won’t allow me to live for that long.
I thought the extra year’s life you get for having breakfast everyday is a bargain as I enjoy breakfast and I never imagined it would make you live longer.

Breakfast is indeed the key to good heath IMO. Even better if you reverse the norm and eat a dinner like breakfast and a soft breakfast like dinner to sleep on. More energy to get you through the day, and less bulk to digest while sleeping. Pete
