I can understand why you're asking this question as I've found it surprisingly hard to buy book-shelves in Thailand.

Steve G, you're absolutely correct... we have a certain area we want to fill, but most pre-made are too tall or too ornate

I was shite at woodwork, at school all I could do that was of any merit was smoke behind the bike sheds... :?

Like your Ikea Billy Bookcases, I name all my furniture too, The bookcase is called Clarence :shock: .

Nah not really :), I didnt learn it at school, When i was 18 i had the option of being made redundant or going in the unit next door where i was shown how to make simple bookcases by someone i didnt particularly like, When you can make them everything else is put together in more or less the same way... sort of!
And now, The chap i didnt particularly like at the time but who gave me a job all them years ago, Is my biggest customer :thumb:
