Don't pay any attention to me, I'm just in a spout off mood.

Every hotel in Thailand is girl friendly if she's the same race as you, or carrying a non-Thai passport.

Thailand really needs to upgrade it's short time hotels to Japanese love hotel calibre. They're great, you never see another human being. The key comes out of a slot, and you're locked in the room until your money goes down a tube to the office. Perhaps skeletons in some rooms from those who didn't have enough cha ching.

Welcome to the forum 'Argus'. Perhaps go back and introduce yourself, or are you just passing through and gassing up? Pete

Hi Argos!

Welcome to the forum, sure you'll find most hotels are not overly dramatic about it and aren't that bothered, so long as there are no problems.

no gassing up pete, just a bit of scouting before the deed!
I like to keep a little style and I dislike therefore brawls in front of
my woman.. I do not always carry my machete either!
I would much prefer booking me a condo, if hotels in huahin make
noise if you have local guests. any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Some of the top-end hotels get pissy about it but they can be avoided.
Pretty well all mid-range hotels (hot showers, a/c and good beds, just like the top-end!) are ok with it.

Fair enough. Go to the below link and start hitting a few threads with hotel names. I recall there are plenty of comments throughout about the subject. Good luck. Pete

I've never had a problem at Marriott or Hilton. Not stayed at Sofitel or Hyatt, which are the other 2 top end hotels.

At Marriott and Hilton normally it's very late when returning to the hotel, so it's just security (who normally salute, smile and give the thumbs up) and the night porter on reception (who's not the brightest spark so best to just walk/stagger past, smile and say goodnight). Never been bothered then or the next morning.
