Yamaha Dealership - Hua Hin?

Post by Noz »

Apologies for posting this again but I never got any answers at the end of my other thread.

As it says in the subject, I'm looking for a Yamaha dealer in Hua Hin? There have been previous posts referring to one near the flyover at Khao Takiab but I haven't seen one.

Yamaha themselves sent me this list below (don't know where that last one is) and I also believe there's a dealership in Cha-Am:

1. Tepphawan Yontakit.Co,.Ltd, Aumpur Bangsaphan
2. Chanturakit (1990) Aumpur Pranburi
3. P.Autosale, Aumpur Meang

Anyone know of anything in Hua Hin itself?

Thanks

There's a Yamaha shop in Hua Hin on the right heading North on Pethakasem somewhere between the centre of town and the Palace.
It's a shop rather than a garage, but I'm sure you can order scooters from them.
Look for lots of Fino promotions that are normally all over the front of the shop.

Thanks Steve. Actually found that one this afternoon just driving around. As you said, it's more of a shop than a garage. They didn't have the particular model I wanted to try out (Yamaha Nouvo Elegance) and could likely order one for purchase, but I'm thinking in terms of repairs, maintenance and the required servicing (should I decide to buy), I'd be better off buying from a dealer that does this directly.

Any more out there?

Noz.
2 more on Phetkasem.
1) Corner of soi 92.
2) Soi 68, where the vans leave for BKK.
Both with garage and service.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot thaiorchid. I've been in the one near the minivan departure point, which appears to be the main Honda dealer and although they have a Yamaha sign up, don't stock them. Likewise with the Suzuki dealer a little further north on the same side of the road, who have a couple but not many.

Will get down to soi 92 tomorrow though. Cheers.

Hi Noz
We bought our 2 bikes fom this shop, a Fino & a Mio.
They do have a garage area tagged onto the side of the shop
All our servicing and repairs have been done here at the shop. Prices are better than the falang prices we get charged around town for the odd puncture etc.
I would recommend them without hesitation, they certainly have looked after us.
Good luck

Noz, If you are settling in HH, you had better choose a make of bike with good backup. It seems Yahama and and co might not be it as you are having trouble finding dealerships!!

Hi Noz -

Finally saw our friend today and there is NOT a Yamaha dealership in Hua Hin according to them. There is the resale outfit you saw already.

Sorry for the bad news, but if you are dead set on a Yamaha Cha Am really isn't that far away.....about thirty minutes from Market Village in normal traffic.

Thanks very much to all the above for the further info.

Just back from the dealers at soi 92 where I managed to test drive the Yamaha Nouvo Elegance 135cc. Have to say I was impressed and felt altogether more comfortable and safer on the bigger bike (compared to the 110cc Click I'm driving now).

Anyway, that's me one step closer to purchasing and my quandry now is whether I should be buying from a small dealer/garage like this or whether I should be buying from a larger main dealer that I presume Cha Am to be?

As of now, I don't think it'll make much difference. Any thoughts?

Personally I always like to go the the regular dealer.....maybe even more so here so parts are always available and you may get some goodies from the dealer you wouldn't get from a smaller shop. It's certainly worth the drive to check it out.....

Good luck.

Hi everbody,
old topic , but I'll try anyway.
Looking to buy a Yamaha Nouvo SX , and I saw some members were shopping around before.
Anyone have a shop/garage to recommend ?
I allready went to those near soi 45 and 92.
Experience about after sale service in shops is important to me , so...
Thanks !
