New in town, where is immigration?

Post by tonymaroni »

New in town from Pattaya.
Where is the immigration office?

Do I need a copy of apt. lease or a bill for elec etc. to show for my 90 day
check in?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Imm is north of town off Petchkasem Road. It's the first soi on the right after Index furniture store as you head north. It's clearly signposted on that side of the road.
No, you don't need your lease for 90 day reporting. Just you, your passport, the previous 90 day report slip which should be stapled in your passport and the correct form filled out - they normally do that for you there.
NOTE: as you're new to HH, Imm might try and pull you up on not reporting your presence here within 24 hours. This requirement is an old one and it seems that HH is about the only place to be enforcing it. Therefore, do take your lease for this eventuality. The 24 hour report is separate from the 90 day one. From reports on this forum, the going fine is about 800THB. Silly, I know, but best be prepared for it and plead ignorance :thumb:

Thank you for the welcome.
Does seem that things are different here for IMM. They are real sticklers for something with your name on it in Pattaya, every 90 days they made me copy the same lease rent paper over and over, or elec bill. etc.
That is why I was asking. Thanks for info.

The other things, changes about HH I am lovin. Sleeping better, it is real quiet. Even crossing the street, I feel safer compared to PATS.
