I haven't done it for a long time, but it is pretty straightforward. It will involve a trip to the Thai Embassy in London. You'll find more details here http://www.thaiembassyuk.org.uk/newvers ... sport.html
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

It was a quick visit here to the embasy in Los Angeles. All done in an hour.

We have just got my wifes passport back after six weeks of waiting for it and her indefinate leave visa has not been transfered into it.
Qestion is this the norm or does Linnie now have to produce both passports to the border agency.

She should produce both passports to show them the visa sticker page but they are slowly moving to issue UK ID cards to non-EU immigrants. Not sure if this is only for new visas though (the ID card replaces the visa sticker in the passport).
I think you can also pay an extortionate sum to have it transferred to the new passport if preferred.

Kendo, check with the UK Immigration site. I definitely know that you used to have to pay to get it transferred into the new passport. I know this because I know somebody who was refused. Don't worry though - they were refused because they also held a UK Passport, and they said there was no longer any need to hold a visa. If I get time, I'll try to find the link.

Here's the link http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/while ... -passport/ . You can transfer it, but it is not essential - carrying both passports is sufficient.
