Rent steel scaffolding?

Post by hhfarang »

Anyone know any place in Hua Hin that rents steel scaffolding by the hour or by the day... and up to how many levels can you stack that stuff (safely) without going double or triple width?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Tower scaffolding (the type that slots together to form a square) should be good for 10 meters, providing that it is on a solid and level base and vertical, the other type used in most European countries can go up 50 floors or more, but that's another storey

Don't know where you can hire it, sorry.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

hhfarang.

A bit late I am sorry.

I have seen it stacked at Hua Hin Steel ( soi 140 )

Not sure if they hire it or sell it.

I don't think they speak English.

Please let me know how you get on as I will also be needing some if the future.

Question.
What do you need scaffolding for? Sounds like a major project. You may want to hire a local contractor for that.

Reasoning:
- It'll probably be cheaper and faster. Under watchful eyes, of course.
- you won't have the authorities banging on your front door threatening you with deportation for taking away a job from a local   OR
doing 'work' that you're not allowed to do by law :| . (Like cutting hair, gardening or similar. And no, I'm not being facetious :duck: ).

If you can't do the job with a step-ladder in less than a day, farm it out.

No, actually I need it for a day max probably for a few minor projects like changing light bulbs, cleaning the eve of the house of webs, and repainting a small section of the rain gutter... all very small projects on a very tall house (about 10 meters from ground to gutter which is the highest of those projects).
